It is generally accepted that cheating is the result of a misunderstanding of people in a couple. They say they have cooled down to each other; have ceased to trust or have diverged in views on life. But, according to American psychologists, the whole point is not only this. Sometimes, the cause of treason is the personal problems of one partner.

So, they continue, daffodils want to always be the center of attention. They will never get enough of the enthusiasm of one person, they crave the adoration of the crowd. Moreover, both men and women. Therefore, both of them tend to have lovers and small intrigues. Burning eyes, which devour them with all passion, give such a charge of energy that no stable and well-fed everyday life can replace.

Extremes are always bad. Therefore, self-confident egoists are prone to cheating for their own pleasure. It just never occurs to them that such behavior can torment someone.

But, no less bad is the extreme degree of self-doubt. Cheating in order to assert itself, unfortunately, is common among both sexes. They are especially popular in those cases when they occur because of a quarrel with a partner or because of suspicions of the infidelity of the chosen one.

What follows from all this? It may sound trite, but the more honest we talk about our grievances and unpleasant experiences to our chosen one, the easier it will be for the second to understand our torment. But if a person understands everything, but does not consider it necessary to strain about this, this already makes one think: did we make the right choice?
