Monosexuality is a direction according to which a person experiences sexual attraction only to people of the opposite sex, or to representatives of his own gender. This means that both homosexuals and heterosexuals can proudly be called monosexuals. But monosexuals categorically reject the views of bisexuals and generally question their existence.
Homosexuals
For a long time, their ideology was considered a mental disorder. A few years later, the WHO officially recognized homosexuality as one of the types of orientation, the main influence on which the social environment has. Some scientists do not abandon their statements, which say that orientation under the influence of some factors can change to the opposite. Later, scientists proved the influence of biological and genetic factors on homosexual orientation.
According to the approximate calculations of researchers, about 10% of people on Earth have a homosexual orientation. Naturally, this figure does not reflect the real picture, since many LGBT people are forced to hide their identity in order to avoid homophobic persecution.

Heterosexuals2
The very people who experience sexual attraction exclusively to people of the opposite sex. Or so-called straight people. It is generally accepted that a person's gender identity is manifested in early childhood, when a child begins to realize his gender. Or at the time of puberty, when boys are actively showing interest in girls, and they, in turn, are trying in every way to attract the attention of the opposite sex. It is heterosexual people who make up the vast majority of people on the planet.
Scientists argue that even in cases (and this often happens) when a man or woman had an irregular homosexual experience in their sexual life, and the number of heterosexual relationships still prevailed, then we can confidently assume that these people are heterosexual.

Eternal Confrontation3
People who clearly adhere to monosexual views sincerely wonder how you can love "both yours and ours." They consider their convictions more legitimate and more correct in many aspects. As a result, many LGBT organizations categorically exclude bisexual people from their membership and often reproach them for inconsistency and promiscuity. Monosexuals sincerely consider bisexuals not as an independent orientation, but as a kind of intermediate state on the way to identifying themselves.
You can often hear that bi-orientation is the envy of ardent representatives of monosexuality.
Strange affliction4
As a result of numerous studies, experts have come to the conclusion that most monosexual individuals are susceptible to so-called biphobia. That is, they have a strong aversion to bisexuality in general. They promote exclusively their own views, as the only true and correct, excluding bisexuality as such.

Biphobia is gaining momentum thanks to the binary worldview. After all, according to monosexuals, everyone who in any way does not fit into the binary concept has no right to exist. In addition, heterosexual monosexuals do not support the views of homosexuals. And vice versa.
