Tinder Coming Soon To Offer Online Dating Matchmaker

Tinder is an advanced technology company and by far the most popular app for connecting people and building relationships. Most recently, at the Startup Grind Global tech conference in California, Tinder CEO and founder Sean Red announced that artificial intelligence will be the future of the popular dating app. And such a future may come much earlier than expected.

"I think it might sound crazy," Red said at the conference, "but in the next five years, millions of global Tinder users will be able to ask the system to match them for a date, and artificial intelligence will track possible matches nearby."

Believe it or not, dating is really a numbers game, and right now the data Tinder uses is primitive: age, location, mutual friends, and a few similar interests based on what you like. Why not add a few parameters to all this and increase the likelihood of finding the right person? For example, it would be very useful to have a way to know in advance someone's relationship status without having to ask about it.

In the words of Sean Red, "In five years time, Tinder could be so good that you exclaim," Hey Siri (Apple's voice assistant), what's going on now? " And you will receive the answer: “On the street nearby there is someone of your liking and whom you can attract. She is free tomorrow night. You both love one band playing in our city. Do you want to buy tickets? " Sounds like a description of an episode from the TV series "Black Mirror", and even Red himself admits that "it's a little scary, despite the obvious convenience of the process."

But Tinder is looking at even more futuristic dating options. Mr. Red sees a time when the app will be able to offer the form of a real party in "augmented reality" using AR, technology that overlays digital images on the real world. “Thanks to AR, you can, without leaving your room, relive the experience of your meeting in real time and the place you proposed,” says Sean Red, and it really looks like an episode from Black Mirror.
