What do you do after sex? Some people prefer to eat or smoke, some go to bed, others like to hug. Should I think about it at all? Does it matter?
In fact, the more lovers express their feelings for each other after sex, the happier they become!
The results of a study published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior with 138 men and 197 women in relationships were very interesting. Participants determined the amount of time they spend on “expressing love” (kissing, hugging, sleeping together, talking), the length of time they spend on foreplay and, in fact, sex.
Psychologists have proven that the more time couples devote to post-sexual expressions of love, the more satisfied they are with their sex lives. This is the result of both women and men.
In the second stage of the research, the participants were asked to have sex every day for three months, to devote time to post-sexual foreplay, while describing their feelings and assessing their sexual relations, as well as the relationship in a couple in general.
The result was stunning!
Those couples who spent more time than usual on affectionate communication with each other after sex turned out to be more sexually satisfied and described their relationship as happy.
Research has proven once again that the more time couples spend on fondling, after sex, and the more often they fall asleep in the spoon position, the more positively it affects the relationship. Lovers experience feelings of happiness, acceptance, sexual satisfaction.
So, we have something to think about, friends! After sex, caresses can help strengthen relationships!
